The story
Udaan is our next big step: three community centres in Shalimar Garden, Pratap Nagar and Daya Basti. Each will have a sewing room, a beauty-training room, a computer lab and classes for children.
Over 12 to 18 months, Udaan aims to train 400 women and 500 young people for work, support 2,000 children with their learning, give rations to 1,200 families, run 12 health camps and care for 100 senior citizens.
The plan for the first year costs ₹96,59,000. Companies can fund it through CSR, and every gift from friends goes into the same three centres.
