Give your time. We'll show the world.
Teach, mentor, organise, or keep doing the good work you already do in your own city. Every approved volunteer gets a public profile with daily photos, a day-by-day count and a verified certificate at the end.

Mitra Mela India is now Mitra Mela Global
For years our volunteers have shown up in person: in classrooms, at health camps, on cold winter mornings with kits in hand. Most of them still work offline, close to home. Now we have grown from Mitra Mela India into Mitra Mela Global and rebuilt our systems to help at a global level. We are now building an online circle of friends who can lend a hand from anywhere in the world. The first faces here could be yours.

How it works
From application to certificate
Six steps. You always know where you are, from your dashboard.
Apply and sign
Tell us about you and the work. Sign the volunteer agreement on screen and verify your phone.
We verify with the organisation
We call the organisation or person you named and check your ID details. Your own mission goes live only after they confirm.
Your period starts
Your public profile goes live with your task, organisation and a day-by-day count.
Upload 3 photos a day
From your dashboard, every day of your period. Show the work, the place and your hands at it.
Admin review
Our team reviews every upload before it appears, and checks your full record at the end.
Certificate published to your ID
A certificate with a public verification code, linked to your profile, that anyone can check.
Before you apply
The rules, plainly
These keep the people we serve safe, and keep every volunteer profile honest.
- 3 photos, every day of your period
Upload them from your dashboard on the day. Show the work, the place, the materials, your hands at it.
- Every upload is reviewed
All uploads are reviewed. Inappropriate or unlawful content will be removed, and the volunteer's access may be suspended or terminated. Where the law requires, we will report content to the appropriate authorities.
- Children's faces stay private
Faces of children must not be identifiable without guardian consent. Photograph from behind, show hands and work, or blur faces before you upload.
- If we can't approve you
You can reapply after 24 hours. Your application ID is deleted 48 hours after the rejection; after that, simply apply fresh.
